Governance

As a provincially incorporated organization, the Kingston SPC is operated by a Board of Directors of volunteers appointed at Annual General Meetings. Membership in the Kingston SPC is open to all residents of the City of Kingston and surrounding Counties of Frontenac and Lennox & Addington.

The Board appoints auditors to complete annual financial statements. Once approved by the Board, audited statements are filed with the Charities Directorate of Canada Revenue Agency. The Kingston SPC applies for grants and funding from a wide variety of sources and may receive donations to support its mandate.
